Various rare
rings. You get an amazing amount of them, so you end up using ones
that are just obscene. Plus there are great
unique rings also, so that raises the bar for a rare ring worth
wearing even higher. Most of these pictured here I just gambled,
looked at, laughed, and threw away since I'd never use them, despite
them being better than any rare rings on all of D2X at this point.
The ideal ring varies
by char needs, of course, but for all melee chars you must have -%
damage. Rares go up to about 15%. You'd like resistance,
leech, +stats, and +hps.
Rings in use.
This one is on my
paladin now, at lvl 89, and has been for some time. It's not godly
at a glance, but it's my only mana leech, and my other ring and amulet
are unique, and have no leech, and there's none on my sword, so I had to
get it somewhere. I'm using 13 of the 15 str to equip my shield,
the 12% damage reduction is mandatory, and 19% res all is all being
used. I would, of course, prefer it to be dual leech, but the only
dual leech with damage reduction I've found lacked the big resistance,
and the +str is mandatory also, unless I want to juggle much other
equip.
A recent find on my
Bowazon at lvl 87. All she really needs is dexterity and mana
leech, so that's why it's on her. I'd prefer a unique Macar, I
think. She's found a bunch of viable dual leechers, but since
she's got an amazingly good amulet with life leech, dual on a ring is
pointless. The dmg reduction is nice also, and lightning gives me
more equipment options if I want to change other stuff around and still
keep my MSLE-ignoring 87% res up.
Various trashed rings.
I gamble just about nothing but rings and amulets, so pop a lot of these
w/o really even trying.
More to come.
