Pet Photos: Prowfff | |||||||||||
Dad likes having her around to pet and pat on occasion, but not enough to actually adopt her and let her inside for more than brief lap-warming moments. It's unknown who Prowff used to belong to and if she ran away from home or was abandoned or what. She's very friendly and tame and happy to sit in laps and play, but she's got no collar and no one seems to be willing to claim her full time. She is eating well however, since she hangs around half a dozen houses in the area and scores handouts from all of them. Her main problem is sleeping accommodations, since no one will let her inside at night. She usually ends up on dad's back step, where you see her at the screen door below, or else on his front porch if it's raining. Dad has been known to put out an old pair of sweat pants for her to curl up on, which is either nice of him or downright pathetic; I can never quite decide. Prowff enjoys rolling in the dirt and being pushed around on her back, and is probably not very large, beneath all of that very puffy fur.
R.I.P.
Prrowf's usual perch.
From this location she can eye all kitchen activities and make her
deafening yowls for attention impossible to ignore. She'll often
be sitting here when you enter the house and walk through to the back,
even though the glass door is closed.
A view from the treasured dirt wallow back towards the back door. Prrowf was somehow left behind by the photographer, and is working hard to rectify that situation, moving at her best half-amble. Can't see it clearly? Never fear, by the end of this page you'll know the backyard dirt wallow almost as well as she does.
The last thing your ankles ever see.
Prrowf's got hella-drumsticks. And quite the fluffy tail. How can you not want to pet that back?
She likes to be
pushed around on her back in the dirt of dad's side yard, but doesn't
quite have the proper wheelbarrow/plow form down, preferring to sprawl
widely when being propelled.
Yes, sprawling out on
her back in the dirt is one of her favorite things to do, especially
if she's being pushed or petted at the time. Even if the petter/pusher
is trying to hold a camera overhead to take pics of her at the same
time and is therefore distracted from doing a proper pushing job.
Heading for the backyard sprawl location via the side of the house walkway. No, I don't have any more interesting photos of the cat. Stop badgering me.
View from the back door towards the dirt wallow, where Prrowf impatiently awaits her belly-rubbin's. You'll note that she's both sprawled, and in the dirt.
Yes, this page is well on it's way to Jasperville, as a lack of interesting photos leads to a lack of interesting captions which leads to overly sentimental words that have nothing to say. Next visit to dad's (they've been fewer of late now that said visit requires a plane, rather than a 12 mile drive) I'll try to get some pics of the cat doing, well, pretty much anything other than sprawling in the dirt. |
