I read all of the emails I receive, quote some on the site, reply to a few, and privately ridicule really dumb ones. Look for email replies when I quote them in the blog, or include them in the monthly mailbag features.

Why don't I reply personally to every email I receive? I have several excuses reasons. This website is not the only thing I have to work on in my life, especially now (post July 2003) that I've moved to Northern California to live with my girlfriend.  Also consider that time spent on a new site feature will be seen by everyone; time spent on an email reply will be seen by one person.  Would you rather see more site stuff, or know that I spent an hour the day before writing back to various emailers? True, in a fair and reasonable world I'd reply to everyone who took the time to mail me.  But you'll note that this world is neither fair nor reasonable.

You may also contact me via snail mail, if you have something nifty to send, want to make a site donation and lack a credit card, or are just some Luddite busy storing your own urine in jars in the basement. Mail anything you want to mail here. Make any checks out to me.
